- There are currently 160 women employed by the Tsonga at the Thread of Hope farm.
- Over 200 jobs have been created to date for members of the Lidgetton community.
- The farm is capable of outputting over 2000 pairs of shoes per day.
- Hand-lacers at the farm have earning potential up to almost double the minimum wage, with basic wages starting at 25% above minimum wage.
- Fruit and vegetables currently grown on the farm form a significant contribution to the daily nutrition of the children at Lidgetton Community day care.
- Tsonga Shoes are sold in the following countries: South Africa, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia & New Zealand.

- Tsonga is currently developing plans and setting up a trust for the construction of the Thread of Hope Training College in Lidgetton.
- The college will focus on adult education and literacy, as well as shoe manufacturing training.
- The long-term plan is to establish a hub of economic activity in this rural area, a group of businesses owned by the members of the community supplying Tsonga with components for the manufacture of the shoes it sells worldwide.
- Phase one of the project will be the construction of lecture rooms and a workshop to accommodate twenty-five students.
- Environmental Progress: Our manufacturing facility roofs have been painted with a ceramic coating to reduce heat emissions.
